The laboratory is located in Piraeus, in privately owned facilities, in a building complex of 600 m² , near the central port.

We have centralized all our services in one site in order to facilitate the teamwork and the cooperation between laboratories. The building is designed specifically for laboratory use and includes, besides the laboratories and the administrative offices, special spaces for storage of samples in controlled conditions.

In Tsakalidis Analysis&Testing we operate the following sections :

Aiming to the increase of productivity of our laboratory, all of our instruments are fitted with automatic samplers which allow the overnight operation and they are connected to a central system LIMS. For the preparation of the samples we use SPE, SPME techniques, liquid-liquid extraction and head space for the volatile compounds.

The SPECTROSCOPY LABORATORY has the required equipment for the determination of most of the metal in all kinds of substrates (solid, aqueous and organic) using the technique of atomic absorption in all its variations and also plasma emission technique. For the preparation of the samples we use a microwave digestion technique in a close container under high pressure. The spectrometers are equipped with automatic samplers and have the ability of automatic preparation of standards, automatic dilution of samples with high concetrations and automatic application of the technique of standard addition in samples with difficult substrate.

The WET CHEMISTRY LABORATORY performs all the analysis which require distillations, excractions, submersions, measurements with photometer and analysis of classical chemistry in general. Special care has been given to the optimazation of automation. The basic equipment includes:

The ORGANOLEPTIC TEST LABORATORY operates in a special and separate space where our trained panel of testers organoleptically evaluates food and wine samples using triangle test, duo-trio test, ranking test.
