The evaluation of air quality of indoor spaces is very important since the increased concentrations of gas pollutants may affect directly our health and cause serious diseases. In order to estimate the quality of air and record the potential sources of pollution in the workplaces, our laboratory provides analysis of air sampling filters. Analysis protocols are based on methods developed by NIOSH and OSHA and include the trapping of compounds in solid absorbent materials, then their desorpion either by extraction in suitable solvents or by heating and their measurement with suitable methology.
